Christine Ödlund’s art has had me spellbound for years,” says Richard Julin. Deputy director and chief curator at Magasin III in Stockholm. A wide variety of Ödlund’s work is currently on display there, from installations and animations of the dance of plants to sound pieces for air roots. Glass and paintings add a physical component, and the mix includes metaphysics and science in her own unique world, Julin explains.

Christine Ödlund was born in 1963 in Hägersten, and over the years she has done a variety of shows at art galleries in Sweden and abroad. This spring, you can see how she mixes spirituality with natural sciences at Magasin III.

Also, don’t miss her new solo album, which will be unveiled this fall.

Christine Ödlund – Aether & Einstein is on display at Magasin III until June 5
