The new monthly “Made in Sweden” screenings at Cinemateket in Stockholm, start this Saturday. The films shown will vary from early cinema to the contemporary classics giving non Swedish and Swedish speaking audiences alike a chance to discover Sweden through its films, in one of the biggest cinemas in Stockholm. Swedish director Bo Widerberg’s classic Elvira Madigan from 1967, starts off the series.

When and where: 17 October, 4 pm at Filmhuset on Borgvägen 1 in Stockholm. (No age limit)

Tickets at Cinemateket are 70 sek (free admission for those younger than 15!) and can bought at Filmhuset before the screening, and in Kulturhuset by the Kulturdirekt counter. (They are also available online, cinemateket.se.
