Today is a special day. It’s a day of patriotism and a day that we can recognize the beautiful country we live in! Although Sweden’s National Day is a fairly new addition to our calendar and therefore not as popular as say America’s 4th of July, people still do participate in the festivities and of course enjoy the Friday off. But what’s the best way to celebrate a day like today? Outdoor partying! There’s not much we love more, right?

Where do we think the best party is today? Kungsholmen. A National Day celebration and festival is being held at Rålambshovsparken & Smeduddsbadet which starts from noon! Street food, stalls, activities and a beach party at Smeduddsbadet will inhabit the area. And for those that just want to sit and relax on the Friday off – bring a blanket and some cider and lay out in the peaking sun! The party is good for all ages and has something for anyone. Get yourself over there even if it’s just for a short time!
