The weekend has finally arrived. Here’s a list of what we recommend you check out over the coming few days.

Stockholm Inkbash opens Friday at 15.00 and runs until Sunday. The annual event attracts a range of home grown and international tattooists. If you are considering going under the needle and lack inspiration this event is a good place to start. A weekend ticket costs 300sek. More info here.

Soul Train at Café Opera in Norrmalm is the perfect place to enjoy a post work drink. Miami themed, the drinks are saccharine sweet and the music pulsing. Doors open at 1700 but get there early to avoid disappointment. More info here.

Popaganda, Stockholm’s biggest and perhaps best music festival kicks-off on Friday at 1300 and runs until late on Saturday. The event is conveniently located at Eriksdalsbadet next to a range of public transportation. This year is better than ever. Thåström, Damien Rice, Patrick Wolf and Little Dragon are among the highlights. More info here, here and here. Ticket info here.

Stockholm Zombie Walk 2012 will take place at 13.00 on Saturday. Participants should meet at Bofils Arch (between Medborgarplatsen and Södra Station) before setting off at 14.00. Bring your own blood. More info here.

This summer went fast. While it’s still warm enough, wrap up the weekend with a dance and drink or two at Trädgården. It closes down next week for another year. Free before 20.00 but expect queues after 23.30 as its located close to Popaganda.
