Women And The Man Made Environment At Marabouparken Konsthall

This Sunday Marabouparken Konsthall is hosting a discussion on ‘Women And The Man Made Environment’, a discussion about women’s engagement with the modern city. The discussion will begin with a presentation of the work of three artists: London’s Hackney Flashers, a female collective who operated between 1974 and 1980 and produced work on the marginalisation of women in the modern city; Tessa Lynch, a sculptor; and Pia Sandström, whose work is currently on display in the Konsthall’s exhibition Starting From The Self. Then the open discussion will take place on the importance of recognising women’s experience with and engagement of official environments. It starts at 14:00.
