Ready for Takeoff

Those who’ve passed through Heathrow’s Terminal 5 are well aware that pre-flight dining and drinks can be so much more than just crappy fast food. Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant Plane Food (pun intended) was one of the very first airport restaurants to serve up a decent meal in a stylish space.

Swedish restaurateur Pontus Frithiof aims high for the opening of Pontus in the Air at Arlanda Airport, claiming it is set to be the best airport restaurant in all of Europe. We love the fact that the restaurant is the kind place you can drop by anytime of day for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a quick drink, regardless of what time zone you are currently in, either physically or mentally.

With dishes cooked completely from scratch on location, a wine menu by sommelier Mario E Moroni and an interior by design studio Koncept Stockholm, we hope Pontus in the Air will soar.
