It is no wonder that the number of brands offering this particular service are steadily increasing.
The latest to jump on the bandwagon is Melanders, best known as a fishmonger that opened their first outpost in Östermalms Saluhall in 1961.
Customers can register online to have their choice of one of two dinner grocery bags delivered on their doorstep. The “Friday bag” consists of a pre-cooked three-course menu for two, while the “shellfish bag” is filled to the brim with seafood delicacies and a dessert.
