After Noma in Copenhagen, Fäviken Magasinet might very well be the most talked-about restaurant in Scandinavia. But if the road feels too long (it is located in a remote area close to the Åre ski resort), the price tag to steep (the tasting menu is priced at 2,200 kronor, drinks not included) or the wait too long (those wanting to go on a weekend will usually have to wait a few months), there is an easier way to get your hands on a taste of Fäviken.

The Fäviken Weiner, conceived by Fäviken head chef Magnus Nilsson and produced by Undersåker’s charcuterie factory, is now available from selected Stockholm restaurants and markets. The thin sausage, which contains a mixture of minced pork, beef, elk and mutton, is best accompanied by beer. Try Hornstulls Bodega, Gastrologok/Speceriet, Rolfs Kök and food market 8T8 for Fävikaren and Undersåker’s other charcuteries
