CLUBBING: Let the summer clubs begin!

In May, when the entire capital city begins its migration towards the outdoors, you will get a glimpse of what the Stockholm summer has to offer club-wise.

On May 9 a new project called Panama Francis will start in a secret but high-profile, location. Speaking to Maja Asperö Lind, one of the people behind Panama Francis, we learn that the idea behind the project is to make something that she herself wanted to visit, but also seemed appealing to lots and lots of people. A fun and welcoming place with great music, art and and a great crowd.

“We have a wide mix between international bookings and local DJ:s and organizers, and we hope to surprise people with our three different musical genres under the same roof – and out in the yard!

“The summer vibe will be great. A newly-established architecture collective are designing the decor and I heard that there will be swings!”

Another big thing this summer will be the Lydmar Summer Sessions, as the immensely popular free music project at the Lydmar Hotel on Blasieholmshamnen continues into its third season.

The Lydmar may since have been taken over by the Grand Hotel but it has decided to keep going with the popular music events. There might be fewer live shows at the stage compared to last year, but in case the stage is empty there will be live DJ:s all summer.
