While this might not be the greatest decade for iconic live albums, the tried and trusted formula is still interesting. Especially when accompanied by a film and a documentary photo-book. Karin and Olof Dreijer of The Knife woke up one day in 2010 and began to doubt the point of their existence, which eventually resulted in their recording Shaking The Habitual and a return to the live stage. They broke up soon after, but luckily, for those of us who missed out on the fun, they’ve documented that tour in a film and a live album, and both are nearly ready for your enjoyment.
The film Shaking the Habitual: Live at Terminal 5 is screened at Bio Rio on 30 Aug, while the live album and photo book will be released one day later.
