Chef Elias Alekji, often credited with first introducing Stockholmers to the Lebanese kitchen many years ago, has returned to the restaurant scene after a seven-year long break. Teaming up with friend Gabriel Saado, the new venture is simply named Elias.
To step up his game, Alekji is introducing touches of the French cuisine into his traditional Lebanese cooking. An example of this is ‘Le Coq’, marinated and grilled chicken on skewers served with Lebanese garlic cream.
