Having been closed for renovations, the cute and cozy little Xarcuteria at Hantverkargatan on Kungsholmen re-opened its doors to the public in early November. The restaurant, a creation of brothers David and Douglas Tikka, serves up the best of Spanish and Italian cured meats. The Xarcuteria experience is fairly unique with an array of options, from grilled sourdough bread with fresh salami to long-matured cheese and freshly-cut meats imported from Southern Europe to their intimate eatery.

The Tikka brothers have also carefully chosen the best accompanying wines and craft beers from local microbreweries, and offer a mean espresso made from Neapolitan Passalacqua beans.

“We are so excited to come back better than we were. My brother and I have spent so much time building up a restaurant that will only serve the best drinks around and the freshest food, including things that people may have never tried before,” says part owner David Tikka.
