Made out of recyclable thermo-plastic, with a briar wood core, the Stiff pipes smoke beautifully. When the user considers him or herself to be done, the pipe can be sent back to the factory for recycling and a 15 percent discount on the next Stiff purchase. Stiff pipes are made in limited production runs and cast in Tyresö. The hand-polished finish for delivery takes place in the Stiff factory in Malmö.
Edward Vince is the head of the London-based design studio Vince & Son and the man behind the revival of the tasteful porn magazine. With a passion for print publishing, he created Talc – a new magazine in an older format. Talc draws on the aesthetics of tasteful soft porn of yesteryear, and the beauty of the women featured in Playboy and Lui in the 1970s.
Like its predecessors, Talc also features well-written and meaty features on art, music, design and cars. As a whole, Talc is more of a tribute to the beauty of women and interesting aspects of life than an outright pornographic magazine. As such it is produced completely without financial support from any of the big publishing houses.
Swedish vodka brand Absolut has a long-standing relationship with the professional bartending world and has gained a solid reputation through its high quality products and appealing design. By collaborating with mixologist Nick Strangeway, the brand has created Absolut Craft – a concept entailing infused vodkas that incorporates tastes like bitter cherry, smoky tea and herbaceous lemon. To further strengthen the unique relationship, the classic Absolut bottle has been given a silvery tint – an old-fashioned way of protecting its content – and strong but elegant graphics adorn the bottle as well as the Absolut seal.
