In true Brooklyn spirit Brooklyn Ha Ha presents some of New York’s hidden standup talents. In addition to the American talent, we welcome some newcomers from the Stockholm comedy world!

GREG POEHLER (U.S.)
Greg Poehler has appeared on RAW comedy club on several occasions over the years and has performed at many of the best stadiums in both Sweden and the United States. Now he has got his big break in TV success Welcome To Sweden, a show he both created, wrote and produced.

FELICIA TOMALA
Felicia started her career in stand-up in 2010 and since then has been on some of Sweden and New York’s biggest stages. She trained for a year to be an actor in New York but is now back in the Stockholm scene and is also on the podcast “2 Females.”

DAVID SUNDIN
David Sundin has made ​​web shows with Killinggänget, TV shows with Filip and Fredrik and skits with Alex and Sigge. He has written lots of humour for TV and a year ago he overcame his galloping stage fright and made ​​his debut as a standup comedian. Since then he has managed to appear at RAW, Norra Brunn, Uncut and several other clubs across the country. He is also heard in humour podcasts Fantasy Panel, and All My Comrades.

PETRINA KARLSSON
Petrina Karlsson (Newcomer of the Year 2013), an active Malmö Comedian who enjoys sharing out playful viciousness! She has written scripts for SVT comedy show Robins and opened for big names like Johan Glans and Maz Jobrani (U.S.). In recent times we have seen her on Oslipats Norrland Tour and heard her forge raw, gloating jokes when she visited P3s satire program The think tank.

JOSH GONDELMAN (U.S.)
Josh Gondelman from Boston, now residing in New York went to Atlanta in 2010 to attend the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and won first prize. In addition to being a stand-up force, he has written for the television series Billy on the Street and in New York Magazine and Esquire. He has become a feature of the Ellen DeGeneres show and his twitter feed was named by Paste Magazine as one of the year’s best in 2012.

Brooklyn Ha Ha: NYC Stand Up will be at Debaser Strand’s Bar Brooklyn on May 20.
