Comedy Highlight: Al Pitcher At Cirkus

Al Pitcher has managed to make a comedy career for himself by being the man outside the bubble looking in at Sweden through the glass (this metaphor admittedly got slightly muddled but if you imagine a glass bubble it kinda works, no?). Originally from New Zealand, Pitcher moved to Sweden in 2010 and has since harvested plenty of comedic material from his psychoanalysis of his new country. After the success of his shows Fika and Nääämen it’s Al Pitcher, he’s back with a new baby, Sverige Syndrome, a show he describes as being about “falling in love with Sweden”. He tours it this autumn, and the Stockholm date is at Cirkus.
