We’re on the brink of another Stockholm Fashion Week. Proceedings for this year kick off on Sunday, and there’ll be lots and lots of events as the week progresses. And Velour by Nostalgi have a very special event planned for Tuesday. They’ll be launching their new collection ‘Anglofilia Activism’, along with their new jeans collection Svanenjeans, given the Svanen mark for being produced to the highest environmental standards. Velour describes ‘Anglofilia Activism’ as the “‘Anglophilic’” look and attitude that prevailed in Gothenburg at the end of the 90’s and the early 2000’s. The look is basically 90’s British with knitted cardigans, pullovers, polo-like uppers in combination with a sporty silhouette. The colour theme is brown, mustard yellow, green, old pink, black and navy, with added communicative thematic prints and patches”
The catwalk starts at 18 at NK, Ljusgården, and music is provided by Hennig Fürst of The Tough Alliance and Fredrik Lindson of The Embassy. .The Svanen jeans collection (the first jeans collection ever to be awarded the Svanen mark) will be available for purchase in the store afterwards. The event is open to the public, but places are limited so get there early to make sure you grab a spot.
