The band who is also Sweden’s new ambassador of noisy post-punk, messy psyche-rock and dreamy goth-gaze returns in the same jet-black blocks as before. The quartet followed up their self-titled debut album with Then Comes Silence II at the end of last year. The fascination for destruction, darkness, death, and the ghostly and horrific, is intact and the band keeps a steady course in just that direction. Having just returned from a tour through Germany, it is now our turn!
The 2012 debut album quickly aroused interest, gaining sustained media attention and was praised on music blogs for its apocalyptic message and its dystopian soundscape. The supported A Place to Bury Strangers and gigade at the Roskilde Festival.
In 2013 came the sequel Then Comes Silence II. The album has received extremely good reviews in Europe and now even Sweden is starting to believe how good TCS is…
NORMA
After being praised for her debut album, Norma is finally back with their second album The Invisible Mother. Norma’s music is a mix of ambient, kraut, noise, electronica, indie often with repetitive drums/bass and a large, almost hypnotic sound.
Her richly embroidered and atmospheric music with a warmth rarely hear from bands in this genre. Obviously, people think of German kraut but also Spacemen3/Spiritualized ‘s space rock. They have also been compared with Silverbullit, 120 days, Serena Maneesh and Sigur Ros. The new album leans a little more on the electronic part of this genre but is still just as organic and fluid.

The evening will be attended by the creator of the immensely popular goth and alternative club, Bat Night, who will be occupying the DJ booth.

DJ NightOwl (Patrik Sandermo) and Pixiebat (Emillia Forsell) will be delivering heavy electronic music and dance dark hits to get the dance floor in gungning. Patrik is an internationally booked DJ playing frequently at alternative clubs and festivals like Wave Gotik Treffen and Electronic Summer Festival behind sig. In 2014 Patrik is one of the few DJs that have been selected to play at Amphi in Cologne, which is one of the largest existing alternative festivals.
