Marcus Norberg is not a new name for Swedish indie fans. The Sandviken-via-Malmö musician has been at the heart of bands like YAST and Nightmen over the past few years, but recently decided to step out as a solo act. He released Heal The World in May. It’s a record that’s a little softer and slower than his world in bands like YAST, made from artfully written, elegant indie-rock that luxuriates in Norberg’s baritone vocal on tracks like The World We Live In (Is Way To Small). Just this Monday he dropped a new video, for the song Someone Said (It Ain’t Easy), and he comes to Stockholm for a Fritz’s Corner show tonight along with his band The Disappointments. Support comes from Stockholm indie-trio Barbarisms.
