SUPPORT: ANTI PONY

It wasn’t long after Linn Öberg released her first single, Jump, in January 2012, that people realized she had great talent. It was then that Andy Ross, the man who made everything happen for Blur back in the day, made contact with the twenty-six year old singer. She then took several trips to London to perform, and her music was praised by the British music magazine, Music Week.

Things have been slowly progressing and this Saturday, Linn is officially releasing her latest single, Vacant Days. The song is a phenomenal piece of well-written music that premiered on the Swedish radio station P3 earlier this month. Just last week, she opened for the sensational Sinead O’Connor at Hamburger Börs.

Linn’s music is often compared to other, past artists. Some claim that her style is inspired by dreamy, honest songwriters, but it really isn’t fair. Öberg is completely unique, and I don’t think it will be long before everyone realizes it.

At the release party of Vacant Days, one of Linn’s back-up singers, Sanna Colling, will also perform with her own band, Anti Pony.
