Prong from New York by frontman Tommy Victor has brought out plates since the mid 80’s and in 1989 wrote on his first major recording contract with Epic Records. Since then, like most bands, it has changed lineups both one or two times plus the just mentioned guitarist made little excursions into familiar bands like Danzig and Ministry. The group’s last album (the seventh in order) Carved Into Stone from 2011 was the group’s first signs of life on record since 2007.
Next summer of 2014, we will be able to see this legendary metal band on one of the world’s biggest metal festivals, Wacken Open Air. This festival is seen by around 75,000 people each year, and even now is already sold out. The festival’s motto reads faster, harder and louder, which is roughly the same message Prong has used so successfully since 1986. In April 2014, we see the band at Debaser Hornstull Strand.
As support for this great tour we see the Italian metal quartet Klogr.
