After the shows in Central Park, New York, influential DJ and former Swedish House Mafia Member Steve Angello is bringing his massive outdoor party Size in The Park to Stockholm and Kungsträdgården. The free, one-day festival that’s being held at Kungsträdgården will feature Angello himself.

The DJ and producer has previously expressed some discontent with the fact that people has to pay to come and see him perform, and that’s one of the reasons why the festival is free of charge. ”You can do things for the feeling and the happiness it can bring, not the money”, Angello told Metro about the project.

Size in the park is being held from seven in the evening all the way to midnight, and DJs like Qulinez, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and AN21 will be performing alongside Steve Angello.

Recently, Angello’s record label Size celebrated ten years, and celebrated the occasion with the massive party #DECADE, in Miami. For two years, Size in the park was being held at the Rumsey Playfield located in Central Park, but now it’s made its way to our northern regions, and his hometown. The idea of not charging the visitors for entry is part of Angello’s whole mentality of being able to give something back to his loyal fans.

Size in The Park is being held at Kungsträdgården on May 17. There’s no cover charge.
