Truckfighters

Though overlooked by Swedish audiences, Örebro natives Truckfighters have found a great deal more success abroad. They have performed their particular brand of fuzz rock at over five hundred gigs all over the world.  Formed in 2001, they wasted no time in releasing their first two EPs with Desert Cruiser coming out that year followed closely by Heading for God’s Warehouse in 2002.  After just two EPs both critics and audiences were united in naming Truckfighters one of the most influential bands of their genre.

Debut album Gravity X and its sequel, Phi, built on the success of their EPs and their fan base continued to gain popularity. Truckfighters put on dynamic, hard rocking shows and when it comes to sound their music contains traces of Tool, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, and Soundgarden.

2013 was a great year for Truckfighters and included a tour with Norwegian metallers Kvelertak and a couple of weeks in Australia and New Zealand.  2014 looks set to be even better with their recent January release of their new album Universe.

“The best band that’s ever existed ” – JOSH HOMME of QOTSA, KYUSS

“Truckfighters blast your ears with their unique take on modern rock” – METAL HAMMER

White Miles

The influence of psychedelic desert rock is clear in the massive riffs and simple, almost tribal drum rhythms of White Miles’ music.  They describe their sound as “dirty pole dancing stoner blues rock.”

Bosnian singer/guitarist Medina and Austrian drummer Lofi formed White Miles in 2011 after 6 years of friendship. Being invited to play at the 2012 “Fete de la musique” in Grenoble opened the door to the international stage for the duo and they are now on their way to Stockholm.  Their song Show Your Hope Where The Dope Grows, which was recently featured on an episode of the American web-series Girl/Girl Scene, leads us to really look forward to the band’s first release.
