MOVED FROM BEACH TO MEDIS
Tickets for this gig were quickly slipping away. Therefore we moved the gig to Medis to provide a better opportunity to get there. WALK OFF THE EARTH (21:30)
After a sold-out European tour earlier this year, it is now clear that the Walk Off The Earth will come to Stockholm and Debaser Medis on April 19 as part of his “Gang of Rhythm Tour.” This Canadian band has been incredibly successful with their creative covers of everything from Nirvana to Taylor Swift and appeared late last year in the Youtube Music Awards.
WOTEs cover of I Knew You Were Trouble was nominated for a Youtube music award, where they also played at the Youtube Music Award ceremony, along with , among others, Eminem, Lady Gaga and Arcade Fire.
Earlier this year, released Walk Off The Earth album ” REVO ” with self-composed songs. It contains hit songs like “Red Hands” and their latest single ” Gang of Rhythm .” In Canada, ” REVO ” is already certified gold and “Red Hands” has sold double platinum.
Walk Off The Earth has played all over the world and sold out shows in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Tokyo, Singapore, London and Paris. This Saturday they come to Stockholm for their first concert in Sweden ever.
CAMERA 2 (20:30)
Brooklyn quartet Camera2 have been playing together since 2012 and consists of producer and songwriter Andy Chase (Smashing Pumpkins, Tahiti 80), guitarist Michael Jurin (Stella Starr) bassist Aric Gillis (Teenage Kick) and drummer Mike Williams (Teddy Bears). First single Appetite from their upcoming debut EP of the same name was released in February.
