Kaffe, kaka och karaoke is, as the name suggests, a club that offers its guests a healthy helping of cake, coffee and karaoke. It’ll be taking place once a month this autumn/winter, and the opening night takes place at Morfar Ginko on Friday. They’ll be sharing the evening with DJ group DATE, run by pop music’s Julia Spada, Hanna Stenman and Ji Nilsson.

People who get enthusiastic about cycling tend to get really enthusiastic about cycling. And for all those people who say things like “cycling isn’t just a mode of transport: It’s a way of life”, there’s an exciting event taking place in September. The STHLM Cykelkarneval is set to transform the city’s streets into a river of wheels and pedals as around 1000 cyclists gather to cycle a route from Norrbro back to Norrbro, via Vasastan and Kungsholmen. After the journey there’ll be entertainment in the form of trick cycling as well as live music and food.

As part of Gather Festival, Red Bull’s Sound Select concert series are taking over a stage at the festival. Curated by Respect My Hustle/ Trans94’s Babak Azarmi, it’s a five-act line-up, with some of the best underground acts from the UK on the bill. Rappers Stefflon Don and Lady Leshurr are the British representatives, while Sweden’s own Ikhana, Lamix and Blizzy complete the set. Seeing international acts of this calibre is never a bad idea, and when they’re joined by some of Sweden’s high-end hop-hop artists, it makes for a must-see show.
