Naomi Pilgrim, opening for Little Jinder @ Debaser Medis, October 17
As a back-up singer for Lykke Li and other artists, Naomi Pilgrim is perhaps more know in the inner most circles of the music business, while to a wider audience she’s been relatively unknown. Almost exactly a year ago, she released the single ”No Gun”, and has since then been playing live around Sweden and Northern Europe, with gigs at Way Out West, Øya Festival and Trailerpark Festval in Germany.
The music is interesting much because of the interesting production; heavy electronic beats mixed with vocals powerful enough to carry the songs on its own. To anyone who heard ”No Gun” last year and fell in love, fear not. Naomi Pilgrim is coming back in a big way. Pilgrim’s latest up-beat single, ”It’s All Good”, holds much promise for the future.
