A little while ago the band Vo Pam released Vad dom än säger, an anthem for the #MeToo movement that featured contributions from 56 artists (including Kajsa Grytt, Shirley Clamp, Bishat and The Hanged Man) and with all the money raised going to Roks, the national organisation for women’s and girls’ shelters in Sweden. Tonight they take it to the stage with a release party at Debaser Strand.
Vo Pam will perform the song live along with Kajsa Grytt, Sarah Riedel och Charly Paulin (of The Presolar Sands). There will also be a number of organisations on site who work with equality and women’s rights (Roks, Stockholms tjejjourer, VÅGA, Jämställd festival, Make Equal, Nätverket 50/50, FEMME POP and Musikförläggarna), who will be giving speeches and be open for conversations, and Feministisk Marknad will also be present offering work by female artists and designers for sale.
Entry is free, but it is possible to donate on-site to Roks.
