It’s been the year of the big hitters on the Swedish gigging scene this year, with Håkan Hellström swallowing Ullevi whole during his set of shows there and Kent about to embark on a farewell arena tour that will no doubt bring down a storm torrent of tears so great that it might drown the entire country. Veronica Maggio has watched this all happen, decided that it’s about time that female musicians got to play the same size of show as their male counterparts, and so has set up her biggest- ever gig at Stadion. With her new album Den första är alltid gratis riding high in the charts, it looks like being a career highpoint for the pop queen.
