Playtown Stockholm
Whether you’re a visitor or a resident, we are quite sure you’ll agree that Stockholm – the Venice of the North – is quite hard to get enough of. Why not bring carefully-selected components of it home through the four-piece Playtown Stockholm collection by Swedish wooden toy manufacturer Playsam? The polished wooden pieces, by designer Ola Wihlborg, replicate four of the most well known structures in the capital: the Kaknäs tower, the city hall, Globen and the Royal Castle.

City Mug Stockholm
As of recently, we are seeing an increase in niche brands bringing out designs that capture the air of a specific destination or location. While candle manufacturer Manili chooses to encapsulate the scents of their favourite Sydney neighbourhoods, perfume brand Scent of Departure chooses to name scents with the three-letter airport codes from all around the world.
Here in the Nordic region, Iittala have enlisted Finnish-Japanese studio Musata to create a set of six city mugs, each one only available in the city it depicts.

Stockholm Trivet
Among the preferred souvenirs from the souvenir shops in Gamla Stan, you will find a selection of stuffed Viking hats, troll key rings and elk poop stuffed in little glass jars. You can imagine our excitement when design brand Men at Work launched a series of black powder-coated steel trivets featuring the capital’s name in bold typography. Designed by Dick Lundgren, the form-meets-function object measures 18 by 18 centimetres and is crafted in Sweden.
