Giving is always in fashion and this holiday season is all about the act of giving. What better way to do that then attending a charity fashion event? Come early December, Berns will be hosting Style It Forward, a night that will combine two things we adore – fashion and charity. The concept for the event was a collective creation by Berns, The Hunger Project, and Lauritz.com. Fashion lovers will be able to snatch up exclusive items donated from notable brands and names such as Fred Perry, Lexington and Dagmar, and celebrities like Mona Sahlin and Noomi Rapace, all the while helping to raise money for empowering and educating women throughout the world, primarily in Africa.
The newest donation has come from Swedish astronaut, Christer Fuglesang, who is donating a t-shirt that he wore in space. Yup – vintage on a whole new level. The event is guaranteed to be both fabulous and fun with a promise that people will be leaving with stylish clothes and a full heart from helping underprivileged women change their lives.
Style-It Forward will be held at Berns on 8 December. Doors open at 14:00.
