Sudakistan Weekend

Sudakistan are a Stockholm-based quintet by way of South America who mix heavy Latino rhythms with garage punk, psychedelic guitars and multilingual chants to create a unique and distinctive sound. Their high energy delivery and fusion of genres make it great party music.

El Movimiento – their debut single, digitally released by PNKSLM, premiered by VICE and raved about by everyone including Pitchfork and Artrocker has received radio airplay all over the world, including on Marc Riley’s acclaimed show on BBC 6 Music.

The overwhelming success of Sudakistan’s debut made them one of the most hyped up bands at The 1234 Festival in East London recently.

They have once again been signed by PNKSLM for their follow up single which will feature two new songs recorded with the help of Henry Withers (Lovvers/Sex Beet). For the moment you’ll have to enjoy the track above as this limited edition vinyl won’t go on sale until January 2013. Can’t wait that long? Sudakistan play Strand on November 10. More info here.
