People well versed in the Stockholm restaurant scene will be familiar with Cafè Piastowska, a Polish restaurant formerly run by the Brzozowska family. Wanting to realize a dream of carrying on her grandparents’ legacy as restaurateurs, Carolina Brzozowska Catenacci has opened Piast, a Polish bistro, rotisserie and vodka bar specializing in poultry.
“Polish poultry is delicate, and it will be a crosscutting theme in our menu. The jewel of the restaurant – our rotisserie – offers optimal possibilities to recreate traditional recipes,” she says.
Aside from the birdies, piglets and lambs there are many other items that feature on the menu, and Piast also directly imports its selection of Polish absinths.
