GIG: LAZY OCTOPUS SOMMARFEST
Concert promoters and record label Lazy Octopus return to the Stockholm live scene after a brief summer break with a triple bill at Melodybox this weekend. Playing live are garage-punk newcomers Runtom Knuten, who just dropped their new single ‘Majlis’, prog-indie gang Efterkropp and new wave group Audionom. There’ll be DJs on hand too to wrap things up for the night, and a 100kr admission fee.
CLUBBING: RÖDA RUMMET
Trädgården’s little coven of urban and R’n’B music, has an extra special line-up this Friday as Swedish-American producer, musician, rapper, DJ (basically everything) Amber Watts, aka AmberValent, comes to visit. Her debut EP Paragon is an electro-soup of sounds ranging from sugary-pop to more hard-hitting electronica, making it one of the most exciting things released in Stockholm this year.
