How far would you go for serious cash? Loretta and
Francis are two cleaners in Belfast in Marie Jones’ play Fly
Me To The Moon. When one of their clients, 84-year-old
Davy, does an Elvis and dies on the toilet, the duo hatch
a plan: nab the old geezer’s pension before they report
the death to the police. However, events, as they tend to
do in plays, rapidly spiral out of control and soon they’re
in over their heads. Fly Me To The Moon is a dark comic
drama, one that explores the limits of what people are
prepared to do to escape their normal lives.

Fly Me To The Moon, Boulevardteatern, Opens Sep 24
