Lauren Gunderson is one of America’s most celebrated playwrights at the present time, and in 2016 had more of her plays produced than any other living playwright in the US (six separate titles in total). Now Stockholm is getting a little taste of her work. Playhouse Teater is putting on a reading of her play I And You. I And You is the story of two teenagers, a story that begins when the poetic Anthony knocks on the chronically ill Caroline’s door. The play will be read by Ida Ippolito and Dakota Trancher Williams, two of the brightest young actors on the scene (Trancher Williams is set to star in the upcoming film version of Harry Martinson’s Aniara). Entry is free and it starts at 1830.
