Missionären is all about bringing light to stories untold. Choreographer Malin Hellkvist Sellén’s piece concerns the stories of lesbian Christian missionaries in Västerbotten in the early 20th century, and how their calling allowed them to find their place in society and build lives together. With song, movement and stories, it tells the tales of these women’s lives, work, sexuality and faith. Lotti Törnros and Meliz Karlge take the roles for this performance at Parkteatern.
