CLUBBING: HALLOWEEN PÅ KLUBB HÅNGEL

Look, it’s not really Halloween until next week, but seeing as it falls on a Tuesday, aka the most dowdy day of the week, everyone has to get their ghoul-related partying this weekend. And where better than queer club Klubb Hångel, who are having a special, spookfest at Södra Teatern on Saturday.

ART: STINA NYBERG – THUNDERSTRUCK

Stina Nyberg is an artist and choreographer, and her show Thunderstruck is inspired by the inventor Nikola Tesla and the touring shows of the 1800s, when people wowed crowds with the ‘new’ invention of electricity. Thunderstruck is a feminist choreography show based on those touring shows, creating “an alternative to the existing macho-spectacular tesla coil shows, pairing effective technical innovations with a long-term research on science and magic.”

JAZZ: JAZZMUSIK PÅ SWING

Swing By Golfbaren is Stockholm’s vision of the US 20s, an attempt to create a little Gatsby in a corner of Vasastan. That means old-school decor, mini-golf, and this weekend it means jazz. Sofia Pettersson and Maria Kvist perform on Saturday.
