Sweden does denim well. Think of some of the best-known brands internationally and you’ll discover they have Nordic roots. Nudie Jeans, Black Denim and Frame are just a few of the names at the tip of our tongue. But there is always space for more. These are two new denim brands to know.
First up Adnym Atelier, the brand who want to break the norm. What does that mean? Well, to begin with all styles are unisex, but more interesting is the re-conceptualised styles. These are not your standard skinny, flared, boyfriend-fit denim. Inspired by the Middle East, Adnym are creating new, exciting standards for denim silhouettes.
Next in line – Jeanerica. Focusing on minimalist, timeless classics, their main MO is sustainability. Working with organic cotton they also use dying processes that are as environmentally friendly as possible. Style and sustainability is a winning combination.
