The Image Of War Bonniers Konsthall

War (unh, yeah), what is it good for? Well, exhibitions at art galleries apparently. Bonniers Konsthall’s current exhibition, ‘The Image Of War’, is a collection of works from artists dealing with the depictions of conflict, how they’re fed to us and what we take from them. For those of us who live safe and far away from conflict zones, images are how we experience war, but are often shown to us as projects of propaganda as much as they are to inform. Here, the artists (including Lawrence Abu Hamdan, David Claerbout and Iman Issa) confront that world of war imagery, and examine how we should better understand what these images are telling, or trying to tell, us.

The Image Of War is on display until Jan 14.
