Stockholm Fish

Stockholm Fisk
A fish restaurant that some might see as a bit of a tourist cliché, as it is located just by the central station, it is nonetheless a good spot for those who are keen on trying all those typical Swedish specialities. We recommend starting with a ‘toast skagen’ and moving onto the freshly cooked lobster or crab.

Stim
The new kid on the block is chef Pelle Johansson, who has just opened Stim, a new take on the traditional seafood restaurant. Here, you don’t need to worry about the fish swimming around in excessive amounts of mayonnaise, butter or cream – Johansson and colleague Folke Hellegren serve up grilled seafood accompanied by veggies.

Wedholms fisk
A classic among the city’s fish restaurants is Wedholm, named after restaurateur Bengt Wedholm, who finally, after years in other restaurant kitchens, got to open his very own place in 1985. The poached sole with king crab and truffle-scented Champagne sauce is a must-try.
