Electric Witch started off as a secret project, initially hiding behind the fictional face of a bandleader called “Anna Johansson”. That pretence got dropped pretty sharply, and now we know it’s the baby of musicians and producers Petrus Fredestad and Stefan Lindvall. They’ve tossed a bunch of heavy, old-school synth tunes up on Soundcloud (along with the dazier, dreamier Please Forgive Us, which kinda sounds like Congratulations-era MGMT) over the past few months, and now they’re bringing the project to life live. Gothenburg-Stockholm club Kiss My Ass Club are bringing them to their club-night at Riche live on Wednesday. Doors open at 21:00.
