1968 is still burnt bright into our collective memory, as the year when workers and students united in France against capitalism and outdated institutions and through strikes and occupations brought the spirit of revolution back to life. Färgfabriken’s new exhibition has the events of that year on its mind, fifty years later, as it brings together artists who grew up in alternative, idealistic homes of parents who wanted to create another way of living. That makes them The Children Of The Children Of The Revolution, and they in some sense explore the same kind of questions that were floating around in 1968, but in terms of our time. The artists are Signe Johannessen, Joanna Lombard, Lina Selander, Ylva Snöfrid and Nikolina Ställborn.
