You would think that Happy Socks had made their mission statement fairly clear by their name, but it seems the, well, sock company have ambitions that reach even outside the world of footwear. With summer on the horizon, they’ve stepped into the swimwear market with their new range of swim shorts. The designs pretty much follow the same philosophy as their socks: fun, cartoon-ey patterns and bright colours.

The trunks aren’t the only news the company has going this summer. They’ve also launched a range of sunglasses with Sunday Somewhere. “We wanted to spread our passion for colour and playfulness to even a sunglasses collection. We appreciate the importance of both creativity and boundary-pushing. The collection is a tribute to these worlds”, says Viktor Tell, co-founder of Happy Socks. Both the swimwear and sunglasses collections are available from Happy Socks’ store and online.
