For many, the signature jingle of an ice-cream lorry’s music is one of the signs of summer’s arrival. And this summer Stockholm will be getting a visit from a special kind of ice-cream lorry. The liqueur brand Baileys have been working on a special new Baileys Ice Cream range, infused with their drinks. Together with Stockholm organic ice-cream chain StikkiNikki’s they’ve put together four different flavours, with four different types of Baileys – Baileys Irish Cream, Baileys Almande, Baileys Iced Coffee and Baileys Chocolat Luxe. So for people looking for ice-cream that’s a little more ‘adult’, this might be something to keep an eye on.
The ice-cream comes to Stockholm this summer when the Baileys Ice-Cream lorry comes to Trädgården during their Daytime Sessions on June 16. The ice-cream will also be available from StikkiNikki outlets all over the city from June.
“I have experimented with making ice-cream with different drinks, and I think Baileys works really well in adding taste to ice-cream. I love their different flavours and the creamy consistency, which really boosts the taste experience”, says Nicole Pepper, founder of StikkiNikki and the creator of the recipes.
