When you read a lot of musician bios and press releases, certain lines stand out. And “after learning circular breathing from a snake charmer in India”, a biographical detail about Ariel Kalma, is one of them. The France-born musician is what you might call an eccentric genius, after four decades of work that have seen him master pretty much every instrument going and releasing music that would foreshadow genres yet to come. It’s kinda difficult to pin him down to one genre, but think deep, strange musical compositions from the electronic world. He comes to Flykingen tonight, and he’ll be joined by the artist Cara Tolmie, who’ll be putting on a performance. This show is being organised by Maternal Voice and Oma333.
