Look, this art collective may be called 81 Bastards, but don’t worry, it’s just a name. In fact, there’s only ten of them. 81 Bastards are a Japanese art collective, who might have been called into life as a visualisation of what modern artists could be. They’re painters, graffiti artists, photographers, DJs and tattoo artists, and in addition to their own work they’ve also been called in for collaborations with the likes of Puma and Levi’s. This summer you can see them in live action at Trädgården, as they’ll be working on a mural at the club in July. During their stint as artists-in-residence, visitors who become enthralled watching them work can also grab some clothing from their collaboration with the fashion label Frank Dandy.
