In June Torpedverkstan opened in Restaurant Hierta’s former premises on Skeppsholmen. The restaurant got a new owner in Peter Lax and he has completely refurbished before re-opening and given it a new name. The new menu is comprised of Swedish/Mexican classics under the guidance of restaurant manager Kajsa Åkerblom. ”With our tacos we take Mexico’s street food to Stockholm. And the idea is to eat together,” she says and continues. ”You build your tacos with choices from panko-fried cod, grilled halloumi, cactus or tri-tip in a hot corn tortilla, topped with a cabbage salad and salsas.
