The art gallery LOYAL is on the move. Previously located on Kammarkargatan, they’re now upping sticks to Odengatan and the former Brazilian Embassy building, which they’ll share with artist Carsten Höller, PR agency Modin Communication and Johannes Svartholm. The ground floor will be LOYAL’s, and they’ll celebrate its inauguration with two new exhibitions, Mario Ayala’s AUT Of Body and the group exhibition BODY, CURTAIN, ADVANCE. The renovation of the building for LOYAL will retain some of its previous features, like the fireplace installed by the ground floor’s architect Hans Asplund and the embassy’s bullet-proof glass reception. The opening date for the new gallery is September 20.
