Hokus Pokus is a club night that started off in Gothenburg a few years ago, aiming to promote female and non-binary DJ talents within the club scene. After success in Gothenburg, they’re now finally making their Stockholm debut. They’ll be at Laika for the first time on Friday, with plans in place to have the club on a monthly basis after that.

The line-up for the opening night is headed up by Josefine Hellström Hansson, whose range goes from house to techno to groove to a whole lot else. She’ll be joined on the decks by arranger Christine Friberg. Hellström Hansson told Nöjesguiden:  “I feel so excited and honoured to be playing at the premiere of this great concept. Christine is such a genuine person and arranger who is passionate about what she does, which is reflected in her project. That’s why I’m super happy to be back in Stockholm in associated with Hokus Pokus”.
