RUN: MENTAL HEALTH RUN 2018
Mental health is, obviously, important. And one of the things that can contribute to good mental health is exercise, and that’s the idea behind the Mental Health Run 2018. A 5km light run that’s open to all participants, it follows a scenic route that goes from Sjöhistoriska through Djurgården and back again. There’ll also be a warm-up session with Friskis & Svettis before the run.

At Six are running a tasting special called Tipsy Tea this autumn. The idea is pretty simple – guests get to sample various gin-infused tea drinks, as well as special treats from At Six’s kitchen and bakery. Bookings can be made via At Six’s site.

Bag brand Sandqvist are having a clear out this weekend. So guests at their sample sale this weekend can get Sandqvist products at extremely nice prices. Collection samples, sale samples and models from older collections are all up for grabs. It opens on Sunday and continues into Monday and Tuesday next week.

Everyone expected Seinabo Sey’s long-awaited new album to be good, and when I’m A Dream dropped a few weeks ago everyone was proven right. If she wasn’t a superstar before, this new record, combined with her show at Ericsson Globe this weekend will surely finish the job. Doors open at 19:00.

Slaktkyrkan is starting a new series, Sunday Drone, with the first taking place this weekend. On the bill are three electronica composers, Sweden’s Klara Lewis, Danmark’s Puce Mary and New York’s Hiro Kone. All make experimental, avant garde pieces that strike the listener with unusual power and force. Doors open at 18:00.
