GIG: LES FILMS/ REBECKA REINHARD
Another show at Landet this weekend, and one to watch out for for fans of cinematic shoegaze and scrappy indie rock. Les Films play a brand of airy, dreamy rock music, whereas Rebecka Reinhard specialises in lofi indie kitchen sink songs, stories strung out over a little guitar with her moving voice. Doors open at 20:00 and entry is 80kr.

CLUB: PARTY LIKE IT’S 2007-2011
Look, the real sign that you’re getting older is not people in your age group getting married, having kids, whatever. It’s actually when someone opens a nostalgia club night for the music from when you were between 15 and 22. If you’ve made your peace with the whole ageing thing, you can enjoy music the latest period to be nostalgia-ised, 2007-11, this weekend. They’ll be playing everything from the time period, from the music that aged well (MGMT, Bombay Bicycle Club, Phoenix) to that which maybe didn’t (LMFAO). Typhonic Braincry and Jada Groove DJ.

CLUB: DAZE DAYS AT HOBO
Daze Days festival is coming to Stockholm later this February, and you can read more about that here, and an interview with confirmed-act Merely here. But if you want to get in on the action early, they’re hosting a club night at Hobo on Friday. Entry is free, and Eka Scratch, Shewit and Elias Einhyrning DJ.

VINYL: SNICKARS RECORDS
There’s a very special event happening at iconic crate-diggers paradise starting this Sunday. Redline Recordings, the label of DJ trio the Salazar Brothers, will be selling off their entire vinyl collection. There’ll be an enormous collection of reggae, funk, soul, jazz, rock, pop, hip-hop and world music put together by some of the best DJs around, and it’ll all be available for 45kr a record. A week later, journalist Ametist will be hosting an ins-store interview with the Salazars about the collection.

ART: LILJEVALCHS
Vårsalong at Liljevalchs is one of the most anticipated parts of the annual art calendar in the city. This year’s edition opened up in January, with 254 works on display from 136 participants, chosen from 3538 applications. Vårsalongen is notable for the range and variety of the works displayed – this year’s selection features 79 women and 57 men, artists ranging in age from 18 to over 90 and includes paintings, sculptures, textiles and more. Last year saw a record 122, 146 visitors, a record they’ll be looking to break this time out.
